Mehdi Masoor Biswas, the Bengal Jihadi is a man of Trinity liking ISIS, SIMI abd TMCP.

Mehdi Masoor Biswas, the Bengal Jihadi and ISIS's voice on Twitter, arrested in Bangalore had an alleged link with SIMI and TMCP.

Sambuddha Gupta | Spotlight News Service | Bangalore | 14 Dec 2014:: Now it is too much publicized that a Muslim young techie suspected of running an influential Twitter account promoting Islamic State (IS) has been arrested in Bangalore in Karnataka state in southern India, police say.
The man, a 24-year-old working in Bangalore IT Company, was named as Mehdi Masroor Biswas.
It flashes after the British Channel 4 News said it had identified the man running the account.
The @ShamiWitness account, which has since closed, provided news on IS (formerly ISIS)  and celebrated its rise in Syria and Iraq.
Police said Mr Biswas was arrested for cyber-terrorism offences and crimes against the state, but they do not know whether he has actual links to IS or not.
BBC reports that ....
An engineer by training, Mr Biswas went online late at night to "ferociously tweet" information about IS, police said.
With nearly 18,000 followers, @ShamiWitness was one of the main sources of information about the group in English.
The IS militant group has used social media to recruit foreign fighters and to disseminate videos of their fighters beheading Western journalists and aid workers.
The Channel 4 News report said he told followers that he would have joined IS himself if his family did not depend on him.
"If I had a chance to leave everything and join them I might have... my family needs me here," he said.
'Biswas abetted English-speaking terrorists'....
Karnataka DGP Lalrokhuma Pachau told reporters, "His Twitter handle had become a source of information for new recruits of ISIS. He was in touch with the English-speaking terrorists, thereby abetting them." Reddi, however, said Biswas was not recruited directly by ISIS; neither did he have any role in recruiting cadres for the group. "He never travelled outside India," Reddi added.

Biswas retweeted many Arabic posts translated into English. The Twitter handle @ShamiWitness, now closed, had 17,700 followers.

Accused of abetting ISIS crimes in Syria, he has been booked under Section 125 (waging war against the Republic). The FIR states he has also been booked under Sections 18 and 39 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967, and Section 39 of the IT Act, 2000.

An ardent follower of an extremist ideology, Biswas lived two lives. One was his day job that got him Rs 5.38 lakh per annum; the other was of a jihadist sympathizer propagating the cause in the night. He had a 60GB monthly internet plan.
But we know less about Mehdi Masroor Biswas ....
Hailing from Kaikhali- Gopalpur (North 24 Parganas)  in West Bengal, Biswas led a quiet life in a single-bedroom apartment in Aiyappa Layout, Jalahalli. His father, Mikail Biswas a retired employee of the West Bengal Electricity Board, and two older sisters live in Kolkata.
Mikail told to a Benagli News Paper that his sons's twitter account might be hacked anyway. But he is not that type of boy indulging in 'fasad' as they are all devout Muslim. When asked what is his stand about ISIS, he stated that he would not know more about that organisation but if they are in the right path of Islam, they cannot do any wrong.
From source, it is known, Mehdi Masroor Biswas,  the accused and arrested ISIS sympathizer is an electrical engineer working as a manufacturing executive for a multinational company with a diverse product portfolio, Biswas thought he would never be caught. "He introduced himself as a Libyan man living in the UK to his followers and ISIS members following him on Twitter, and never revealed his real identity or location," as an investing officer said.
The academic career of Masroor is good enough as he scored high in both the 10th and 10+2 standard obtaining first division. He cleared his engineering degree in Elec. Engineering from Guru Nanak Technical Collage at Sodepur. He was opted in a Bangalore based MNC in his present service through campussing in 2012. Since then Masroor has been staying in Bangalore.
Bangalore Police described him as a radical ideologue of the jihadi cause, who reportedly told interrogators, "India does not have real Muslims capable of jihad". A senior police officer who interrogated him said Biswas supported ISIS because he felt they were fighting "the real war".
As per source, Masroor was a supporter of both SIMI, the banned radical Muslim student organisation and TMCP, the student wing of Trinmool Congress, the ruling party in Bengal who are virtually fanning Bengal Jihad by promoting Muslim appeasement with no limit.
The other twitter handle and facebook accounts managed by Mehdi Masroor Biswas support both the activities of SIMI and TMCP in a very explicit manner.

Madhuparna Das | Express News Service| Kolkata | December 12, 2014:: The shadow thrown by the Saradha scandal is slowly creeping up the hierarchy of the Trinamool Congress. After two Rajya Sabha MPs, the CBI Friday arrested Madan Mitra, one of most powerful ministers in Mamata Banerjee’s Cabinet, for his alleged involvement in the multi-crore chit fund scam.

Mitra, the State Transport and Sports Minister, submitted his resignation to Banerjee before reaching the CBI office where he was grilled for five hours before being arrested. He is the first Minister in the state to be arrested in the case after TMC MPs Kunal Ghosh and Srinjoy Bose. The Chief Minister, later, called the arrest “the worst conspiracy the BJP government could do in Bengal.”

According to CBI sources, what led to Mitra’s arrest was crucial evidence including CCTV footage, key statements, and detailed documents of certain financial transactions.

The news of Mitra’s arrest was officially announced at 4.20 pm, following which Banerjee and her senior ministers came out in his defence. Banerjee and State Panchayat Minister Subrata Mukherjee claimed that the “decision to arrest Mitra was taken when the BJP national president (Amit Shah) came to the city on November 30.”

However, the buzz about the possible arrest of Mitra had begun on November 15 when he received the first summons from the agency.

The Minister was then admitted to a private hospital though the doctors there failed to provide a “reasonable explanation for his illness” to CBI.

Mitra was then shifted to the state-run SSKM Hospital, where a medical board — again — failed to submit a medical report to CBI “that could justify Mitra’s illness”. Following his discharge from SSKM, Mitra on November 27 sought a week’s time from CBI.

Contrary to Mitra’s claims, the CBI had recovered CCTV footage showing Mitra entering Saradha CMD Sudipta Sen’s office. Sources said that the agency had also recorded statements of Sen, Saradha executive director Debjani Mukherjee and other employees that revealed Mitra’s links to the Saradha establishment.

According to the sources, Mitra initially “refused to cooperate” but broke down after investigators informed him of the arrest.

CBI official Kanchan Prasad later issued a statement confirming Mitra’s arrest “on prima facie evidence of criminal conspiracy, cheating, and misappropriation as well as deriving undue financial benefits from the Saradha Group”. The statement also confirmed the arrests of “Naresh Balodia, Legal Advisor to Sudipto Sen and Saradha Group on charges of criminal conspiracy, cheating and diversion of funds in the same case.”

According to a close aide of Mitra, the Minister had “submitted his resignation to the Chief Minister, but madam did not accept it.”

Speaking to reporters later, Banerjee said, “We also have several documents against many persons. But we are gentle and decent. Should we arrest a Central leader when he comes to our state? We can also put several charges. I am challenging the Central government to arrest me if they can. Madan is innocent. It is a political conspiracy.”

Daring the CBI to arrest her, Banerjee said, “They have sent some goonda-like officers here. People can see how these officers look. And they are now doing ‘goondagiri’ here. How can they arrest a patient who was called as a witness? The BJP government has broken the federal and democratic structure of the country.”

Saradha scam: Mamata backs arrested minister Madan Mitra, dares Modi to arrest her.

HT Correspondent | Hindustan Times | Kolkata |  December 12, 2014 :: Embarrassment mounted for West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee and her Trinamool Congress after the CBI arrested state transport and sports minister Madan Mitra in connection with the Saradha scam on Friday.
He is the first minister of Bengal to be arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in any case, and the fourth Trinamool leader to be held by the probe agency in the chit fund scam.

Accusing the Centre of adopting bullying tactics after Mitra’s arrest, Banerjee lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah and dared them to arrest her.

“CBI may take Madan to SSKM Hospital. I will go to meet him. Let me see whether Amit Shah’s goondas and Narendra Modi’s police can arrest me,” she said.

“It (the arrest) is unfortunate, shameful and deserves to be condemned. It’s sheer political vendetta. Can the CBI and the Centre go out of their jurisdiction and act like this?” she added.

The Saradha chit fund scam trail is hounding Banerjee’s government unlike any other challenge she has encountered during her stint in power so far and Mitra’s arrest triggered fresh calls from opposition leaders for her resignation.

Opposition parties have repeatedly accused the CM of trying to shield some of the beneficiaries of the company’s slush funds.

The Saradha scam was caused by the collapse of the investment operation of the Saradha Group, a consortium of over 200 private companies, which ran many unlicensed financial schemes in eastern India.

Under the scam hundreds of thousands of small investors lost Rs. 2,459 crore, according to an official estimate. There are unofficial estimates that peg the figure higher.

The CBI arrested Mitra around 4 pm after questioning him for about three hours during which he denied taking any money from Saradha, said an official privy to the development.

According to the official, who did not want to be named, Mitra stood his ground despite CBI officers confronting him with evidence.

“In the Saradha chit fund scam, RC 4 S/14, case relating to Saradha Realty, CBI has arrested Madan Mitra, a cabinet minister in the government of West Bengal on prima facie evidence of criminal conspiracy, cheating and misappropriation as well as deriving undue financial benefits from Saradha group,” said a CBI statement.

“CBI has also arrested Naresh Balodia, legal advisor to Sudipta Sen (Saradha Group chairperson) on charges of criminal conspiracy, cheating and diversion of funds in the same case,” the statement added.

Within an hour of the arrest, the Trinamool tore into Shah, who had launched a scathing attack on the Bengal CM last month, laying the foundation for the 2016 assembly elections in the state.

“The arrest of our cabinet colleague seems to be an act of vendetta. It appears CBI is controlled not only by BJP but also by Amit Shah. We strongly condemn this action. Neither the governor, nor the assembly speaker was informed before the arrest,” said Subrata Mukherjee, state panchayat minister.

The Supreme Court had in May ordered a CBI probe into the chit fund scams in West Bengal, Odisha and Assam under which various companies, including Saradha, allegedly duped investors of around Rs. 10,000 crore.

Two Rajya Sabha MPs (Kunal Ghosh, Srinjoy Bose) and a vice-president (Rajat Majumdar) of the Trinamool are already behind the bars in connection with the Saradha case.

The CM’s stated position is none from her party took any money from Saradha. She also points to the group’s operations having started during the Left rule, which she ended.

The group folded up in April last year, leaving its investors, largely from rural areas with little access to formal banking facilities, in the lurch.

The opposition mounted pressure on the CM after Mitra’s arrest.

“Madan Mitra’s arrest shows that Trinamool leaders are neck deep in Saradha scam, and the dots are leading to Mamata Banerjee’s doorstep. It’s time for her to resign taking moral responsibility,” said Sidharth Nath Singh, BJP national secretary.

State Congress president Adhir Chowdhury, too, demanded that the CM step down.

Jilted Muslim Love Jihadi sets Hindu girl on fire pouring kerosene in Howrah, West Bengal. Girl in critical condition, culprit at large.

Neha ChoudhuryJaita Dhar | HENB | Howrah | 8 Dec 2014:: An 18-year-old Hindu girl named Neha Choudhury,  was set ablaze allegedly by a 26-year-old Muslim perpetrator named Mohammad Imtiaz, after she resisted his attempts to violate her modesty on Monday. Jilted Love Jihadi Imtiaz poured kerosene on Neha when she was retaliating to save her modesty.  The school going girl and a resident of Kashi Mondal Lane, in the Belur police station area, suffered nearly 60% burns and is fighting for her life at the Tusliram Lakshmi Devi Jaiswal Hospital.
The girl, a Higher Secondary examinee, has been admitted to a state-run hospital with burns on the upper part of her body. The condition of the patient is critical as known latest.
Police said Mohammad Imtiaz, entered the Neha’s house in Belur’s Kashi Mondal Lane when she was alone around 8.30am. Imtiaz, a resident of the nearby area (Mainuddin Ansari Road, Vot Bagan), is yet to be arrested. Police said that the accused had attacked the school girl “for revenge”.
“A preliminary probe has revealed that the girl turned down a marriage proposal from the accused. The assault is the fallout of that,” said an officer of Belur police station.
“We are investigating. The girl said she was set ablaze after she resisted Imtiaz’s attempts to sexually abuse her. The accused is absconding and we are trying to track him down,” said Srihari Pandey, additional deputy commissioner, north, Howrah City Police.
Neha, the victimized girl lost her father eight years ago and lives with her mother, who earns a living as a domestic help. Their relatives live in adjacent shanties.
An aunt of the girl who lives in the neighbourhood said she was washing utensils in front of her shanty when she heard her niece’s screams. “I saw a youth run out of the house, part of his shirt in flames. He managed to douse the fire and run away,” the aunt said.
“Around the same time my niece ran out, too, crying in pain. I splashed water on her with a bucket and put out the flames.”
Hindu Protest against Love JihadThe shanty where the girl lives (Kashi Mondal Lane, Ward No. 19 under Bally Municipality) can be accessed from two lanes – one in front and the other at the rear. The aunt, who was washing utensils in the front lane, did not see Imtiaz enter the girl’s house.
“The statement of the witness suggests that the accused had entered the house from the rear lane,” the officer said.
Neha, the Hindu girl told doctors that Imtiaz barged into her room while she was alone and asked whether she would marry her. As Neha refused Imtiaz straight forward, Imtiaz proceeded to violate the modesty of Neha and further.
When Neha tried to chase the perpetrator, Imtiaz allegedly took out a bottle and sprinkled kerosene from it on her before setting her ablaze with a matchstick. The police said some kerosene fell on Imtiaz’s shirt, too.
The girl’s uncle said she had complained to him about the youth earlier. “She told me that he used to harass her on her way to tuition. I asked her to ignore him,” he said. “She is struggling to complete her education.”
A local TMC leader asserted the incident and told that Imtiaz is a habitual offender and has been disturbing school going girls as his usual manners since long. Imtiaz is a daily labour and he attacked another two Hindu girls, one by razor and other by throwing acid. Knowing all these fully well, the local Muslim TMC councillor, Reyaz Ahamed, nor the police authority took any action earlier against the culprit ‘Love Jiahdi’  Mohammad Imtiaz.
When the local Hindu residents took the street to protest over the pre-planned burning of Neha Choudhury, the police and TMC councillor took the case in hand.
The officer at Belur police station said a case under “attempt to murder” charge has been started. “We are looking for Imtiaz.”
The accused is absconding while the girl is battling for life at a private hospital in Howrah. From a source it is known, the doctors in Jaiswal Hospital, Howrah are contemplating to shift the patient to Calcutta Medical college for better treatment.

TMC supporters tortured BJP man with cigarette burns & engraved TMC on chest.

BARBARIC! TMC SPELT OUT WITH STUBS ON BJP WORKER’S CHEST

Saugar Sengupta | Daily Pioneer | Kolkata | 07 December 2014 | :: A BJP worker was stripped and branded with lighted cigarettes on his chest by alleged Trinamool Congress goons for daring to defy their orders and attending BJP president Amit Shah’s rally on November 30. They inscribed ‘TMC’ on his chest with the lighted cigarettes.

attending Amit Shah's rally in Kolkata. Alleged Trinamool

the letters 'TMC' by using a burning cigarette
last Wednesday. (HT photo)

In continued brutalities perpetuated on the Opposition outfits by ruling party goons throughout the State, Vishnu Chowdhury, BJP’s Mandal Secretary in Bansberia in Hooghly district, was on December 3 picked up by the Trinamool men and given the dreaded punishment for defying their orders. He had been warned against attending the BJP rally.
He suffered at least three dozen burn spots on his chest as his tormentors “forcibly” took him to their party office. “They locked me, stripped me for two hours in the cold winter night, beat me up black and blue before branding ‘TMC’ on my chest,” said a distraught Chowdhury. He was also made to shout pro-Trinamool slogans.
He was even threatened with murder if he lodged a police complaint. “Hence, I kept indoors for three days out of fear as they had threatened to kill me. I finally sent a complaint to the police via post,” Chowdhury said.
Though the police have registered a complaint, no arrest has been made yet, sources said. The BJP’s support base has been on the rise in the Hooghly parliamentary constituency with party candidate Chandan Mitra polling more than 2 lakh votes in the general elections.
State BJP president Rahul Sinha had complained on Friday how his party men were being persecuted by the Trinamool men for joining Shah’s rally which eventually turned out to be a grand success. An entire slum cluster at Duttabad in the north-eastern fringes of Kolkata was torched by Trinamool goons early this week as people from here defied Trinamool orders to join November 30 rally, Sinha alleged.
While Hooghly Trinamool leaders refuted the charges, State Opposition was quick to condemn the gruesome attack even as BJP leader Ritesh Tewari said, “Such things take place only in Hindi films where the villains do such acts. This cannot be tolerated.”
The attack was unprecedented and the Trinamool would have to face the consequence of such heinous act in 2016 “when the people will bring about yet another parivartan” he maintained. “This is a Government run by the goons, of the goons and for the goons. How can people from the ruling party perpetrate such brutalities on people for doing Opposition politics only? We demand immediate arrest of the perpetrators of this crime” Sujan Chakrabarty, CPI(M) leader said.
However, local MLA and Hooghly district Trinamool president Tapan Dasgupta countered the allegations saying, “Though we will inquire into the matter, as far as my knowledge goes no Trinamool man is involved in this.” Chowdhury himself was a history-sheeter and was released from jail recently. Dasgupta said, “He had a habit of changing political colours. He was in the CPI(M), then joined Congress and now he is in the BJP.”
